In addition to leading A-Rod Corp, Alex is CEO of Slam Corp, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) with Antara Capital Chairman Himanshu Gulati as equal partner. Slam Corp is seeking to acquire a leader in the consumer tech, media, entertainment, and health and wellness sectors.  

In 2021, Alex joined the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx ownership group. In addition to his ownership role, Rodriguez serves as a strategic advisor to the Professional Fighters League (PFL) and is an investor in Blue Crow Sports. In the same year, Alex formed A-Rod Media, a strategic pillar within the organization to house all media activity. A-Rod Media offers scalable, multimedia capabilities, including original content creation, compelling narrative storytelling, and audience engagement across all marketing platforms.  

Alex is an Emmy Award-winning MLB analyst for Fox Sports and ESPN. He has been a judge and investor on ABC’s Shark Tank, mentored financially distressed ex-athletes on CNBC’s Back in the Game, and co-hosted the podcast The Corp with Barstool Sports’ Dan Katz, interviewing CEOs, entrepreneurs, and sports legends. Committed to creating opportunities for young people to succeed, Alex serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of America and is in the National Alumni Hall of Fame, and the Boards of Trustees of the University of Miami. His gifts to the University of Miami and Florida International University have provided scholarships to dozens of students.

In his role as Chief Financial Officer of A-Rod Corp, David Becker manages financial budgeting, internal reporting, accounting, tax, interfacing with financing partners, and other day-to-day financial operations. Before he joined A-Rod Corp in 2021, he worked at Inner Circle Sports for over 10 years. Prior to Inner Circle, he spent four years in investment banking coverage at J.P. Morgan as an Analyst and an Associate, covering companies in the financial institutions and real estate sectors. Outside of work, Dave currently sits on the Board of Trustees and the Finance/Audit Committee for the Family Health Centers at NYU Langone and on the Industry Advisory Board for the Business of Sports School. He studied business administration at Emory University, where he received his BBA with a concentration in finance.  

Jose Gomez is a founding Partner at A-Rod Corp and Newport Property Construction. As COO of Newport, he oversees the firm’s financial and business operations. He has supervised and managed the repositioning of more than 16,000 multifamily housing units throughout the Southeast U.S. With deep expertise in construction management, Jose forges Newport’s strategic relationships with private equity funds, REITs, and corporate clients.

As VP, Legal Operations, Javier manages investment, legal, and operational strategies across A-Rod Corp’s vast portfolio.

Javier attended Stetson University where he played baseball and obtained his B.S. in Business Administration. As a partner in A-Rod Corp, Lane Lamure sources, develops, and executes transactions and oversees select partnerships. He has 20 years of experience in public and private investment. Before he joined A-Rod Corp in 2017, Lane founded Enlight Capital Advisors, a private investment advisor to high net worth individuals and family offices. Prior to founding Enlight, he was a Managing Director at Attara Capital, a long-short equity hedge fund, where he focused on real estate and real estate-related securities. Before that, Lane was an Equity Analyst at Atticus Capital and an Analyst and Associate at the UBS/PaineWebber Real Estate Fund. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Political Science from Emory University, M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Government from Harvard University, and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Prior to Prelude Growth Partners, he worked on the Consumer, Food & Retail team at Lazard, where he advised on various buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions. Mitchell has a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the men’s varsity fencing team.

Patrick Harrington oversees A-Rod Corp events and hospitality, including activities in geographic markets that are key to the national expansion of Presidente. Before joining A-Rod Corp, Patrick worked for Casamigos, where he helped the fast-growing tequila startup build a large customer base in the Southwest. Before Casamigos, Mr. Harrington worked for Discovery Land Company, an Arizona-based developer of luxury residential communities and clubs. Patrick graduated from Arizona State University, where he earned a B.A. in Organizational Communications.
